Why this is the ideal home
Now let's do it differently than most people, by asking that question anyway and thinking about the ideal home. Then it soon becomes clear that there is a lot to consider before a house can be called ideal. So much, in fact, that it seems like a fruitless thought exercise. Fortunately, the reality is different. The ideal home is not a fantasy. The ideal house really exists, is just for sale, on this website. Here are the advantages of the ideal home in a row.
Savings on the energy bill of between 60 and 70%.
Fully bio-based, so no additions like polyurethane foam or plastic sheeting.
Living in wood is experienced by body and mind as living in a natural environment, which measurably and tangibly contributes to our well-being.
The wood for a 100 m² house grows in 20 seconds.
CO2-CO2-negative. The opposite of a CO2 surplus, as is known from conventional construction.
In a maximum of three days, the house is made wind- and watertight on the plot and connected to gas, electricity, and water.
The exterior of the house is protected with wood, stone or stucco. For decoration, but not necessarily, the wood inside the house can be covered with similar materials.
Lowers heart rate, making the residents of the house calmer and live longer.
Completely circular until the very end - unlike concrete, steel, brick, or glued wood, CLT.
Insulation material is not needed. The high or low temperature outside has relatively little influence on the temperature inside.
Better fire safety than reinforced concrete.
The prefabricated parts of the house are placed on the construction site with light, electric cranes without high nitrogen deposition.
Building material for the house simply grows from the ground. For every tree cut down, two are replanted, allowing forests to continue growing.
The wood is and remains untreated, so it is free of chemicals.
Fifty-year guarantee against mold formation and condensation.
Radiation is kept out by 99%.
Exceptionally good natural sound insulation.

FOREST
The most natural plant
Wood comes from the most natural plant there is, the forest. This wood factory runs on solar energy and provides building material that is constantly growing out of the ground. In the European forests, enough wood grows every 20 seconds for a house of 100 square meters. A tree that is cut down before it naturally falls over and decays brings more light into the forest for the other trees that can then grow better. [Read more...]
Vision
The Netherlands needs a lot of housing for many people. It is possible to ideally meet their basic needs by building houses created on the basis of old knowledge and new science. This can be done with a building material that simply grows out of the ground every day on the basis of solar energy: wood, which is then assembled into solid walls, floors and roofs that together form the ideal house. One hundred percent natural, ideal for humans and the environment. The current way of building is almost the opposite, namely unhealthy for people and the environment.
That is not necessary if we offer a commercially competitive and materially superior alternative in the form of the ideal home. [Building with wood...]

Mission
Living in the ideal house is so special for people and the environment that it should actually be accessible to everyone. So not only for well-to-do pioneers, but for everyone, even people who have no interest in special living, but just want a roof over their heads. There is no reason to deprive them of the opportunity or not to allow them to live in the ideal house. Making the ideal house accessible to as many House seekers as possible is the mission of Daan de Wit, the driving force behind hetidealehuis.nl
Invest in the future
The experience House

Living in Wood is really something you have to experience. Take just the fact that your heart rate slows down by living in wood. Experience what this means for body and mind. Come try living in our experience home. This small house is located in the middle of a Nature Reserve next to one of the three large houses. In the large house you can get a tour and see what options there are. The apartment is for sale as a holiday home.
Circular
The ideal house is completely circular, therefore has a cradle to cradle gold-certificate. All the wood of the house can be reused at the end of the cycle, even if after fifty or a hundred years, for example, a wall has to be made for an extension: the boards [read more...]
Shortening construction time
With the Dalson Works project in London, the construction time was reduced by nine months. And it didn't stop there, because instead of the 700 full trucks that had been required in traditional concrete construction, only 98 truckloads were now required.

Reduce CO2
With the construction of one million wooden houses, you would be able to2- can reduce emissions by a quarter. With regular construction it is exactly the opposite, then you are not talking about less CO2, but about more.
